The leather section is held in place by brass poppers which allow for the strap to be adjusted to 3 different positions as well as for it to be removed completely . . . and this allows the apron to be put in a washing cycle. There is a centrally placed pocket on the apron which could be used to store everything from your phone to a notebook . . . or, if you were to use the apron in the garden, your secateurs.
