Due the technique and materials used in the painting of the Lama striped planters the finishes are very similar to the waters of the watercolor drawings, thus accentuating the artistic and handcrafted part of the object, and giving a unique finish to the planter that make special and unique. The technique used was discovered in our workshop after many hours of experimentation. The Lama striped flower pots are made of red clay and its production process is completely handmade, the first step being the potter's wheel, then drying and cooking, to finally arrive at the previously described painting technique. All Lama planters have a hole for draining the plants. Recommended for outdoor use (terrace, balcony, patio...). Terracotta is a porous material that absorbs excess water, making it the best type of pot for your plants. For better drainage, don't forget to put sand, a little gravel, stones or a piece of broken pottery in the bottom of the planter. The planters are handmade and measurements may vary a litlte. Tips and recommendations: Over time, some clay pots may show a slight white layer. This is due to the accumulation of minerals in the irrigation water. The composition of the water varies from place to place. We recommend that you avoid watering with tap water, use filtered water, rainwater or let the tap water stand for a few hours before using it. We also recommend that you do not overwater.
