These eco dinner candles in Gunmetal Grey, Opaline and Marigold stripes are part of the beautiful Fair Trade candle collection from Designed in Colour in colours from the British Standard range. The art/design team Victoria Whitbread and Jackie Piper are the owners of Designed in Colour have a shared love of colour and after discovering an old colour dictionary in an Oxfam shop they began a journey to establish a homeware company based on the treasure trove of colour and history from the 1930s. All of the colours in the range are inspired from nature, flora and fauna as well as semi-precious stones and spices and the main collections also include many historic Royal colours designed for coronations and special events.
The candles are hand poured and fair trade and they contain no animal derived ingredients. Made from stearin wax (vegetable based) they pure cotton wicks (lead/metal free) and are dyed using ecological colour dyes that are paraffin free. They have an 8-9 hour burn time and burn with a tall clean flame and are non-drip. Perfect for special occasions or to give as a gift (they come packaged in a crisp, Kraft card box that is easily recyclable).
