Nepal is known for its handmade paper crafts.This handmade paper decorations is made from the bark of a shrub, locally known as "Lokta", ”Daphne cannabina”, as it is also called, and grows on the southern slopes of Nepal’s Himalayan forests between 1600 and 4000 m. The Afroart team collaborates with local artisans to highlight the craftmanship of the developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. All Afroart products are imported directly from artisans or through Fair Trade organizations.
