Cores da Terra stands for ‘Colours of the Earth’. The ceramics are all handmade by using natural pigments and every piece is unique. But the social aspect is also very important; the studio has become well-known for developing and educating local artisans and contributes to the economic and cultural development of one of the poorest areas of Brazil. Size: Super Extra D 40 x H 34 cm Relying on nature as a source of endless inspiration, Selma Calheira created a beautifully minimalistic line of ceramic fruit objects. The objects carried by Gardeco are Apple, Pear, Cherry, Fig, Hazelnut and Cacau. Selma’s fruit objects are playful yet sophisticated and hand made of organic clay and natural pigments. Each design is available in several colours and sizes. Small colour and size differences may occur and are inherent to the artisanal manufacturing method.
