Trouva is the place to find your new favourite boutique jeweller. Here are a few of our favourites that are crafting stylish necklaces:

In London’s trendy Soho district resides Joy Everley Fine Jewellers, an independent boutique specialising in precious metals and natural stones. This family-run business designs every item in-house and has been established in the Newburgh Quarter for over 17 years. The chief designer and founder, Joy Everley, creates ready to wear and bespoke jewellery with a delicate and precious feel. They’re the sort of beautiful items you treasure for years and pass on as family heirlooms. Joy Everley Fine Jewellers are one of the few truly independent boutiques in the area and pride themselves on quality and their unique designs that feature the likeness of exotic spices, animals and floral charms. You’ll find necklaces hung with a life-like bumblebee coated in 24 ct gold, a rhino beetle with garnets and diamonds down its back, handcrafted using traditional wax casting techniques, as well as dashing foxes and leaping hares. For more traditional necklaces there’s a classic silver locket, roman coin or acorn and oak leaf. All designs are hallmarked by the London Assay Office and stamped with Joy’s unique makers mark.

If you love bold and colourful jewellery you’re sure to be a fan of Hannah Zakari, an independent boutique in Edinburgh that specialises in pieces from indie designers. Founder and owner Rachel Griffiths is passionate about supporting small businesses, clever designers and creative individuals, and her customers love the ever-changing collection. The style at Hannah Zakari is contemporary and playful, with a shopping experience that is designed to be simple and delightful along with beautiful hand-stamped packaging. There’s a yellow, black and striped wooden necklace inspired by graph paper, a speckled black Corian triangle with a white resin ball on bright red cord, a miniature fake terrarium on a chain, angular wooden beads in blue, yellow and pink, along with more delicate offerings like a silver crescent or geometric brass pendant.

Within Cardiff’s bustling Castle Arcade lies the homeware, jewellery and accessory boutique Home By Kirsty. Home By Kirsty showcases a clean and contemporary aesthetic from top British and Welsh designers and creators. All items are designed with the simple purpose of bringing happiness to their owners, from bright lampshades to sleek jewellery. The necklace designs at Home By Kirsty are geometric, including triangles inside circles, circles dangling atop of squares, or a combination of a square, triangle and circle all together on a sterling silver chain. There’s a brushed copper and mint bar necklace from Scotland, a brass semi-circle and long bar on a nylon cord, and a truly post-modern piece incorporating a black Corian block, discs of black acrylic and a black wooden ball strung onto a brass tube.

Whatever your personal style, you’re sure to find something unique from Trouva with over 150 of the UK’s best independent boutiques all in one place.
