Here at Trouva you’ll find a range of earrings, from long, flowing chains to edgy ear cuffs, classic studs, geometric gems, hoops that make a statement and more. You’re sure to love classic precious metals like gold and silver, along with interesting materials including recycled magazine paper, turquoise stone, marble and walnut wood. Here at Trouva we appreciate unique jewellery, so here are three of our favourite jewellery designers right now:

Rachel Entwistle is a multi-award winning jewellery designer who produces her work from herstudio and boutique which is based in Shoreditch, East London. Rachel works predominantly with gold and silver to create pieces inspired by culture, symbolism and tribal art. She uses imagery of amulets, talismans and animals to create items like bronze bone bracelets, silver rings with animal teeth, scarab beetle pendants and a golden Ouroboros Snake ring. Rachel hand crafts all of her pieces in her studio with modern technology and traditional craftsmanship, and her style reflects this. She creates contemporary designs inspired by ancestry and history, using recycled and ethically sourced materials as much as possible.

Rachel Entwistle offers a range of covetable earrings, including primitive arrow heads hanging with chains in sterling silver, hoop earrings with the tria prima symbol of alchemy in black silver, and a golden ear jacket featuring the four spikes of The Tetrahedron, representing fire.

In Brighton you’ll find Dowse Studio & Shop, a boutique that believes an object’s beauty depends on how it is made and byy whom. As a result, they create thoughtful, inspired pieces that are designed and made in Europe. Dowse began as a studio in 2012 and morphed into a shop space in 2014 in order to both create and showcase work from designers and small brands alongside Dowse’s owner, Susannah. Susannah has an extensive background in fine art, fashion and sustainable design, and her unique and playful designs reflect this. Dowse’s earring range features golden pineapples, solid silver cactus earrings, bold honeycomb and bee earrings, as well as a range of patterned triangles, circles and semi-circles reminiscent of the 1980s.

For elegant and truly standout jewellery designs, look to Comfort Station. This Shoreditch-based boutique was founded by fine artist Amy Anderson and started out as a much smaller venture. Amy began by selling her jewellery on Portobello Road from a market stall on the weekends and quickly amassed a regular following and international buyers interested in her work. She was soon premiering at London Fashion Week and has continued to share her delicate, works inspired by cosmology, geography and mathematics. You’ll find intricately patterned circle earrings in 18 ct gold, pointed arrow earrings in gold vermeil and a whole range of strong, geometric drop earrings for the warrior woman. Comfort Station also has a strong interest in ethics and sustainability, with all pieces handcrafted at the in-house studio.

Trouva supports over 150 of the UK’s most creative boutiques and helps them to compete against the big high street names by giving them an online platform to share their products. We’re exclusive about who we work with, only collaborating with bricks and mortar boutiques that value quality and design and seek to support designers and smaller brands. We work with boutiques that showcase hand-crafted and traditionally made objects, and have individual designers and artists producing beautiful and interesting items. Wander Trouva’s pages and you’re sure to find fashion, homewares and accessories that help you stand out from the crowd.
