When former jewellery designer Emily Hendy’s search for a Danish-inspired lampshade proved difficult, she set out to create the perfect pleated piece herself. At the height of lockdown from her home in Peckham South London, Ceau Store was born. Since its inception, she’s been hand-making sleek lampshades with crisp and uniform pleats. Using natural materials such as cotton and raffia, and with a focus on quality and craftsmanship, Ceau Store’s contemporary shades are the sweetest new addition to your home.

Chris and Rebecca Williamson were tired of days spent browsing stores that only catered to one of them, while the other waited impatiently outside. Seeking a more harmonious shopping experience, in 2016 they founded Truce, the Cotswolds-based lifestyle boutique that stocks a contemporary curation of pieces for all. Having opened their second store in Bristol’s Clifton Village in August 2020, Truce continues to serve up one-of-a-kind items for him, for her, and for the home.
