With its optical bubbles, Hurricane boule gives a shimmering light and a luxurious weight. All our candle lanterns carry traces of craftsmanship, which makes each candle lantern completely unique. Boules are as beautiful as vases for flowers. Weight about 1000-1300 gr. Remember that each candle lantern is unique, so deviations of +/- 3% are part of the craftsmanship and charm of our design. The bubbles are added when you blow the glass mass into a cast iron mold and then shape it by hand. The surface is filled with optical bubbles that give hurricane boule a shimmering light in stylistic kinship with 1970s glass design. Does not withstand machine washing. We recommend a 35 mm in diameter small tealight in paraffin or stearin. Each boule lantern shines with an optical effect and has a luxurious weight. Light Your Lamp: For all candle lanterns, we recommend paraffin candles instead of 100% stearin, as paraffin has a higher melting point and is better suited in semi-closed environments. Depending on the light you use and the heat in your surroundings, candle wax can sometimes drip down the side of the candle and collect at the bottom of the lantern. This is natural and will not damage your lantern. For boule lanterns - use a standard tealight up to 5 cm in diameter. Do not move your candle lantern when it is lit. Glass is a living material and when heated should not be moved. If you place your candle lantern on a slippery surface, stick small self-adhesive small adhesive pads under the lantern.
