Gonçalo Castelo Branco is an admirer of the Renaissance period but also of the Contemporary art. Since early age he demonstrated his admiration for different forms of artistic expression and his attraction by colour. Andy Warhol, Ben Shahn and Pablo Picasso have been his mentors and also the source of his work inspiration.
